On the 17th of March there will be a fantastic competition at Praia D’El Rey to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day ! A ‘Beat the Pro’ challenge, with a halfway house and dinner at Marriott Hotel.
This was the first time the Lions of SC Sporting played against the Eagles of Benfica Lisboa at Praia D’El Rey. It was a hard fought match yet no bad fouls and little penalties. After a near five hour battle the score was:
Sporting 4 1/2

Due to the FPG Mid-Amateur Championship being played at Praia D’El Rey on the 3rd and 4th of July, our Praia D’El Rey Pairs for the month has been moved to the 17th.
Our team won a magnificent 3rd place in the Clubs National Championship – Seniors.

We would like to inform that our Courses will open on the 5th April. Our golf reception and Driving Range will be open from 08h00 to 16h30 and our Golf Courses from 08h30 to 16h30.
We would like to inform that the government has decreed new confinement measures such as the closure of the golf courses, with effect as off 00h00 on January 20th. We regret to inform that our golf courses at Praia D’El Rey and West Cliffs will be closed until further notice.
