Francisca Salgado, from Vale de Janelas Golf Club, achieved an excellent runner-up finish at the 2025 Portuguese Golf Federation Cup, one of the majors of the national amateur calendar, held at Santo Estêvão Golfe from October 4 to 7.
After two rounds of stroke play, Francisca secured one of the top eight spots to advance to the match play stage, where she displayed great composure and consistency to reach the final and finish second overall..

Francisca will continue competing until the end of the season, with two remaining events on the Portuguese Federation Circuit.
